Dog Days of Summer in the Islands

It has been a beautiful, hot summer! In this heat, locals take time to visit the lakes in Moran State Park such as Cascade and Mountain Lakes. Others go boating. Still others take their horses from rides in nearby lakes and ponds!

Martha Lum took her horse Picabo for a ride the other day. 

 

Both enjoyed cooling off in Killebrew Lake, south of the ferry landing and Orcas Village.
