Hope everyone got a chance to make it over to the San Juan
County Fair this week! Tomorrow is the last day of the annual week-long county
fair that occurs every year in Friday Harbor. Whether you’re into art, animals,
adventure, food, sustainability, or more animals, everyone is bound to find
some kind of entertainment at our small fair.
Head over to the 4H tent to see entries of kids
from around the county who’ve made everything from baked goods to place
settings to knit products and photos.

Check out the barns to see horses, cattle, swine, sheep,
goats, rabbits, chickens, and varieties. 4H holds competitions for kids
competing in showmanship, anatomy, and an assortment of other fun races and
contests.

Although the fair doesn’t change much year to year, it’s a
fun day trip for friends or family for a break from all the summer craziness.
