Historical Days on the 4th
Looking to extend your 4th of July festivities
this year? Well then look forward to more than just fireworks and the Saturday
parade, market, and fair.
This year the Historical Museum, located right next
door to yours truly, Orcas Island Realty, is putting on a day-of July 4th
event, appropriately called ‘Historical Days.’
From 11-4 next Thursday, the village green will be crowded
with activities for adults and kids alike, from games to a beer garden and an
auction fundraiser overseen by Buckhorn farmer Mark Padbury. Bring out the kids
for a patriotic and historical celebration of Orcas Island next week. The
office will of course be open right next door for anyone to stop by!
