4th of July on Orcas

July 11th, 2016

Parades are a big deal on Orcas, but no parade is bigger than the annual 4th of July parade. Each year, it seems more and more visitors pack themselves into the side streets with the locals to catch a glimpse of the earth ball, kids in costumes, the Oddfellow’s band, and lots and lots of pets and historic cars. As usual, we watched from our prime viewing location outside the front of Orcas Island Realty, at 123 North Beach road. Join us for next year!

Agent participation was high!

Summer Evenings on the Water

June 28, 2016

Can’t beat summer evenings in the San Juans: fresh crab, champagne, and a breathtaking
view. Higher latitudes mean longer summer days…we can’t complain!

Can't beat island life...

Island Summers

June 27, 2016

Inn at Ship Bay bartender Hillary whips up a tasty nasturtium martini to satisfy her patrons. We can always count on her to create original and delicious cocktails! She uses ingredients from the hotel’s garden for many of them. Ship Bay is just one of the many amazing local destination restaurants. Stop by for a drink or dinner Tuesday through Saturday; reservations for dinner out on the beautiful viewing deck are highly recommended.
