The Beautiful Sunsets of Late!

Although
the past few weeks have not been the hot, sunny, beautiful blue sky days that
islanders may be jonesing for this summer, this has not precluded the skies
from molding some magnificent sunsets!

This
next one, taken by local photographer, Christopher Ghazel, is from a couple nights ago on North Beach, and
shows the ‘God’s Rays,’ as they are commonly known, shooting upwards instead of
downwards.
The light reflected off the clouds onto the water and vice versa,
staining the flat clouds yellow on their bellies and transitioning to a pink
glow. Who says a beautiful day is necessary for a beautiful sunset!?
