Yet again, Orcas Island High School has been recognized by
the US News and World Report as one of the top 20 schools in the state of
Washington (the top 4%). We were also ranked number 1304 out of over 21,000
public schools in the US (the top 6%), receiving a silver medal. On top of
that, we were rated the top small school in the state!

Our community provides tremendous support for our local
school system, and many parents are involved in school activities. The
beautiful island has attracted some passionate, well-loved teachers, and
students are proud to leave for college with a unique Orcas Island education
under their belt. Graduation for the class of 2016 is Saturday June 11th
at 2pm in the high school gym. Come check it out for a unique community
experience!
