Dining during the sleepy season…

January is the sleepy month on Orcas Island, with many businesses closed for an extended holiday and the tourist count down to seasonal lows. However, there are a couple of fun hangout spots that locals frequent during these crisp winter days.

In town right next door to the Orcas Island Realty office in the Our House building we have Mia’s! Mia’s does breakfast from 9 to 11:15 Monday through Saturday and brunch on Sundays from 9 to 2. She’s open for lunch and dinner Monday through Saturday and check out the wine bar with rotating wines Monday through Wednesday from 4:30 to 9.
