Orcas Island Bird and Wildlife Festival Coming Up!

This peacock was spotted by the side of the road on Orcas Island

Spotted at the edge of the road, this peacock reminds us of the upcoming Bird and Wildlife Festival that is now an annual occurrence on Orcas Island.

Starting off with a dinner featuring author and naturalist Thor Hanson, the festival will also feature nature walks, hikes, talks, parades, and lots and lots of wildlife. Mark your calendars for April 10th - 12th for an educational and fun few days. Take the time to enjoy the beauty of the natural environment in which we live!
