Northwest Winter

Orcas is beautiful in the winter. The days have been cool, crisp, and clear, and highlight the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
The still water in this photograph reflects the soft watercolor sunset above. We have sailed briskly past the winter solstice on the 21st, and the days are slowly getting longer as winter brings the smooth transition from fall to spring. Although it may be chilly, Orcas has no dearth of beauty in the cold season.
