A Rare Sight: Orca Whales!

Yes, that distant shape in the picture is an Orca Whale, spotted while cruising in the islands. Even as a local, this is a rare sight to see. We get just as excited over these animals as tourists seem to get over deer.

This has been one of the best summers for whale and critter watching. Consider going out for a day with the whale watchers to catch a glimpse of these immense creatures. And may your crab pots continue to be full..of crab!
